Tom Hanks joins Tilda Swinton and Bill Murray at Wes Anderson’s

This is the first time that the star of Forrest Gump has collaborated with the director of The French Dispatch.

The Hollywood Reporter announces that Tom hanks joined the next achievement of Wes anderson. A first for the actor, who, if he has shot several films with Steven Spielberg, Robert Zemeckis, Ron Howard or Paul Greengrass, has never yet worked with the filmmaker of The Tenenbaum Family, Aquatic Life and The Grand Budapest Hotel.

For now untitled, this new film must be shot in Spain, and so far, Wes Anderson surrounded himself with faithful actors : Tilda Swinton, Bill Murray and Adrien Brody. That is to say three stars who will be in October on the bill of The French Dispatch, his latest film shot in Angoulême with a five-star cast, then unveiled at the Cannes Film Festival in July.

The French Dispatch features a collection of stories taken from the latest issue of an American magazine published in a fictional 20th century French town.
