Trailer of Black Adam: The Rock as an Egyptian vigilante!

The new DC hero, played by Dwayne Johnson, will arrive in theaters this fall.

The world needed a hero, it got Black Adam titles the poster for the new DC movie. Black Adam, character created by Otto Binder and CC Beck, oscillates between good and evil. And this is what the trailer for the blockbuster from the comics shows us, affirming that heroes do not kill, a moral that this vigilante from ancient Egypt obviously does not follow.

In the comics, Black Adam is a human who lived during the time of Ancient Egypt. To save the planet, the wizard Shazam endows him with the powers of the six Egyptian gods Shu, Harsaphes, Amon, Zehuti, Aten and Mehen. But seeing the use made of them by his protege, he decides to take them back and locks them in an amulet which he buries in the tomb of Ramses II. The object will be rediscovered centuries later…

The feature film of Jaume Collet-Serra (who reteamed with the star following the success of Jungle Cruise) revisits the story of Shazam’s enemy, nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods – and imprisoned just as quickly. Black Adam (Dwayne Johnson) is released from his earthly grave, ready to bring his unique form of justice to the modern world. A new poster has also been unveiled:

In the trailer, we also discover other characters: Pierced Brosnan in the role of Doctor Fate, Noah Centineo in that of Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell in that of Cyclone, and Aldis hodge in Hawkman’s. The film will be visible in French cinemas from October 19, 2022.
