It is a cartoon that punctuated the childhood of a whole generation. A few generic notes and we are back in 1984 … “One for all and all for one, When we are Musketeers, One for all and all for one, we are like brothers … “ Japanese cartoon broadcast in France during the 80’s on several occasions on the show Vitamin, then in the Dorothy Club or in the show Amuse 3, The three Musketeers in dog version will be back this summer … in the cinema!

A digital feature film adaptation of the cult children’s series based on the novel by Alexandre Dumas. The trailer that just came out suggests that D’Artagnan and The Three Musketeers will again be a cartoon aimed at the youngest:

The synopsis: The young D’Artagnan leaves his native Gascony to go to Paris with the ambition of becoming the King’s Musketeer. As soon as he arrived, he fell under the spell of the sweet Constance, the Queen’s trusted lady … Intrepid and refusing no fight, he quickly made himself indispensable to the three musketeers, Athos, Porthos and Aramis who integrated him into the famous King’s Guard. Together they will have to foil a plot imagined by Cardinal Richelieu and find the Queen’s necklace!

D’Artagnan and The Three Musketeers will be released in theaters on August 25th.
