Steven Spielberg and Justin Lin’s upcoming films will hit theaters later than expected.
Universal shakes up its release schedule, postponing The Fabelmans and Fast & Furious 10 of a few weeks. Thus, the semi-autobiographical realization of Steven Spielberg is shifted from November 23, 2022 to January 25, 2023. The drama, inspired by the director’s youth in Arizona, has Seth Rogen, Michelle Williams and Paul Dano in the cast.
Scheduled for April 5, 2023, the new episode of Fast & Furious will finally hit theaters on May 24 next year. After being the 5th worldwide success in 2021 thanks to the 9th opus, the n°10 welcomes a new character played by Jason Momoa, who joins the Vin Diesel clique (Dwayne Johnson, on the other hand, still refuses to participate in this sequel). The director, Justin Lin, confirms that this is not the last film in the saga, since Fast & Furious 9 “marks the beginning of a trilogy”.
