And proves that he is not lacking in self-mockery.

Venom by Ruben Fleischer will return tonight on TMC. When it was released in theaters at the end of 2018, Ruben Fleischer’s film did not really convince the public. Despite pretty numbers at the global box office ($856 million for a budget of 100 million, all the same), the spin-off of Spider-Man was criticized by critics. Never mind: a sequel was quickly launched with Andy Serkis at the helm, in which Tom Hardy put on the costume of the enemy of the spider-man and Woody Harrelson (who made a brief appearance at the end of the first film) is more present in the guise of Cletus Kasady, aka Carnage. And Sony has also just released another spin-off from the Spider-Man saga: Morbiuswith Jared Leto as a vampire.

Particularly criticized for its rather cheap special effects, Tom Hardy took advantage of the confinement, in the spring of 2020, to share a behind-the-scenes video of the first film on his Instagram account. A fight scene between the hero of Mad Max: Fury Road and Riz Ahmed, as Dr. Carlton Drake (Riot). Except here it is: the video in question is devoid of digital effects, and the result – as embarrassing as it is hilarious – tends more towards an improvised and extremely hesitant dance than a fight scene. We let you admire.

Morbius is less entertaining than Venom [critique]
