Vincent Lacoste and François Cluzet back at Thomas Lilti for A Serious Job

After the release of his fourth feature film First year in 2018, Thomas Lilti prepares his return to the big screen with his next film A serious job. In fact, as advertised The French moviethe director behind country doctor and Hippocrates will stage a social comedy whose pitch is still secret, but whose cast has just been revealed. And headlining: Vincent Lacoste and François Cluzet.

Already directed, in First year and Hippocrates for Lacoste, and country doctor for Cluzet, the duo will be surrounded for this feature by other regulars of Lilti’s cinema: William Lebghil for First year, Louise Bourgoin, Bouli Lanners and Theo Navarro Musy for the series Hippocrates. The revelation of Olympiads by Jacques Audiard Lucia Zhangalso counts in the casting, as well asAdèle Exarchopoulos and Leo Charlie.

A secret job will begin shooting on February 14, before filming wraps on April 22. With a budget of €7.6 million, the film is produced by 31 Juin Films and Les Films du Parc and co-produced with France 2 Cinéma and Le Pacte, in addition to the broadcasters Canal +, Ciné+, France 2, France Televisions, the soficas Palatine Etoile 20, Indéfilms 10, Cinémage 17, Cofimage 33, La Banque Postale Image 16, Cofinova 18, Cinéventure 8 and Cinécap 5, as well as the Normandy region. The release is scheduled for the first half of 2023.
