Jacques Gamblin tries one last family trip so as not to lose Pascale Arbillot…
Honored with the Special Jury Prize at the last Alpe d’Huez Film Festival, We smile for the picture today unveils its trailer, which promises funny and moving family vacations.
The story tells how Thierry, newly retired, “spends his days classifying his family photos, convinced that the best is behind him. When Claire, his wife, tired of “it was better before”, announces to him that she is leaving him, Thierry, devastated, offers him to redo ‘Greece 98’, their best family vacation…”
With Jacques Gamblin and Pascale Arbillot at the top of the bill, the film will also bring together Pablo Pauly and the stand-upper Agnès Hurstel (sacred at Séries Mania in 2021 for her series Young and Golri).
We smile for the picture will be the first film by François Uzan, screenwriter who worked on Family Business Where Lupine these last years. Released in cinemas on May 18, 2022.
