Director Yukiko Sode’s film hits theaters March 30.
The French release ofAristocrats is an event in itself. Firstly because it is directed by a woman, Yukiko Sode, in a country where historically female directors have never had the right to quote. Then because it is a magnificent film, adapted from a novel by Mariko Yamauchi, which questions Japanese society through the character of a 30-year-old bachelor pushed by her family, rich and traditional, to settle as soon as possible.
For the occasion, Hanabi, the French distributor ofAristocrats, is launching an exceptional contest with the key to a trip for two people to Tokyo (where the film takes place). To participate and try to win, simply participate in a survey by following this link.
