Developed by showrunner Michael Olson, Young Jedi Adventures is the first Star Wars animated series created for young audiences. But beyond that, it will be one of the few Star Wars productions to take place during the High Republic era, a new era of mythology – which appeared in novels and comics – validated by Disney as ” canon” and which takes place approximately 200 years before the events of the Prelogy. A time during which the Republic was at its peak, the Jedi Order in full expansion.
Note that this era will also be seen in the future live series, The Acolyteannounced soon on Disney +.
